This role – Manager – SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting is responsible for a range of financial reporting duties that include both internal & external reporting, and the training of staff. You’ll be expected to learn the accounting policies, processes, & controls currently in place; and to build relationships with the accounting team as well as the other corporate & business unit department staffs.

Your oversight will have you review documentation and research technical accounting issues.  You will collaborate with external auditors to ensure reports, filings, & documentation complies with corporate regulations, professional standards, SEC, and GAAP reporting guidelines.

Take your Technical & Management skills to the next level when you join this new Team and help lead by bringing oversight to several functions:

+ Assist the auditors on their quarterly reviews, the annual audit, & the preparation of technical accounting memos ensuring documentation complies with guidelines.
+ Perform technical accounting research & documentation; provide guidance on new contracts & transactions to maintain compliance with any new regulations.
+ Follow and apply the emerging accounting guidance & standards with updates to ensure accounting reporting is compliant with GAAP and SEC requirements.

Candidates will NEED a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field.  Ideally,they would possess a CPA/MBA; or one could hold 4-7 yrs. experience in an a similar role that relies on a technical accounting propensity & strong financial reporting skills.

The position offers a hybrid schedule that requires just 3-4 days a month of on-site visits to their offices which are located in Vermont.

Compensation is offered at a competitive level and can reach a $200K package with the base, bonus, and rsu’s
