Pay close attention, be clever and creative in your questioning.  Try to understand the business models they’ve previously worked within at past employers.  Learn about the Finance and Accounting hierarchies they’ve experienced, and understand the breakout of how the department functions were handled within those past organizations.  You’ll learn a lot about your potential employee, and gain more business wisdom on how other companies manage their operations and approach their markets.
